One UI 3.1 update for Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ makes them better at working with your phone and laptop

The One UI 3.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+ started rolling out last week. Besides the other improvements, this update significantly changes how the slates interact with your other devices – your phone, laptop and even earbuds.

The update allows you to easily copy and paste text and images between your tablet and your phone. And if you have a Book Cover Keyboard connected to your tablet, you can use it to quickly type text on your phone.

Continue apps automatically sync Samsung Notes between the tablet and your phone. The tabs you have open in the Samsung Internet browser are synced as well (you’ll find them in the Recent menu).

This update also allows you to connect the Galaxy Buds Pro to both the tablet and the phone simultaneously. For example, the buds will automatically switch to the phone when a call comes in. Note: this feature doesn’t work with the Galaxy Buds+ and Buds Live yet, but support is coming soon.

These tablet/phone interactions are supported on select Galaxy models running One UI 3.1. Currently, that’s just the Galaxy S21 trio, but more devices will be added to the list as Samsung updates their software.

Finally, you can use your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7+ as a second screen for your laptop with Extend mode. Duplicate mode shows the same thing on both displays and enables some unique interactions like using the S Pen with Windows apps.

Note: only select WiDi-enabled computers running Windows 10 (v.2004 or later) are supported. Follow the Source link for more details.
